The Hasty Harness has been used by firefighters for years to rescue victims and each other from buildings.  The videos below are from North American Rescue Products and their commercial version of the Hasty Harness but you could easily make your own with 1″ tubular webbing and water knot.  I have included a video on how to do this as well. The videos do a good job of highlighting the uses for this valuable tool, so I will not waste time trying to describe it to you.  Enjoy
